spirito che animò quel mondo non è morto. Ci parla nel linguaggio cifrato dei
miti, delle leggende, delle forme di convivenza, dei costumi47.

ETHICAL UNIVERSALISM AND DIFFERENCE: MOVING FROM VICO. A main
issue in Vico’s thought is the relationship between metaphysics, as the
order of ideas in God’s mind that mirrors itself on the human mind, and
history, as the empiric reality articulated in the space-temporal differences
of the world of the nations. By focusing of this relationship Cacciatore
elucidates an idea of philosophy committed to its original challenge of
researching the truth and in the same time deep-rooted in the real matters
of fact.
